OverviewPOSITION SUMMARYThis position is responsible for
directing the fiscal functioning of the Academy according to
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). In addition, this
individual is directly involved in providing strategic financial
input and leadership. Additionally, they enhance, develop,
implement, and enforce policies and procedures by way of systems
that improve the overall operation, effectiveness, and financial
condition of the Academy.The internationally recognized Illinois
Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) develops creative, ethical
leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. As a
teaching and learning laboratory created by the State of Illinois,
IMSA enrolls academically talented Illinois students (grades 10-12)
in its advanced, residential college prepar
