• Cumulative of prior level plus following:
• Develop, maintain and execute on disaster recovery / redundancy strategies.
• Subject Matter Expert of CMDB and Discovery
• Partnering with vendors and enterprise teams on emerging best practices, patterns and technology.
• Proactively learn emerging platforms and related technology.
• Ability to solve complex technical issues and enable/teach peers to be self sufficient.
• Establish and maintain best practices as it relates to compliance, security, privacy and legal requirements.
• Anticipate deviations from standard practices and find practical ways to move forward.
• Closely follow industry trends relevant to your domain and understand how to apply them to your work as appropriate.
• Break down complex problems into smaller, more manageable ones, and help others to do the same.
• Understand what tools are available and useful for your domain, how they work, and the sorts of situations and problems for which they're useful.
• Use them effectively and teach them to your teammates.
  Qualifications
  • 5+ years ServiceNow CMDB experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4-5 years professional experience.
  • May include:
  • 5 years of professional IT experience.
  • 5 years experience with at least one OS/hosting platform.
  • 5 years experience in performance tuning of application stacks.
  • 3 years experience with Cloud based PaaS and SaaS.
  • platforms and integration points to On Prem infrastructure.
  • 5 years experience with virtualization and containerization.
  • 5 years experience with monitoring and performance management of systems.
  • 5 years experience with Scripting development.
  • 5 years experience with networking knowledge.
  • 3-5 years experience with Identity Platform and tools.
  • 2 years experience with modern development and scripting languages.
  • Experience with CICD concepts, and tools, branching strategies and leveraging knowledge to assist in delivering an infrastructure as a product.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills within area of expertise, and solid troubleshooting in adjacent domains.
  • Solid understanding of traditional or cloud computing technologies including Networking, Compute, Storage, Development, Data, Operations, or Security.
  • 4 years experience in one of the following (AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows) administration and configuration.
  • Experience with multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. #LI-Hybrid Compensation Range: Pay Range - Start: $92,750.00 Pay Range - End: $172,250.00 Northwestern Mutual pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement in the salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment.
