Manufacturing Engineering Manager Job Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will strategically manage the workflow of the Aerospace Engineering department, by analyzing and resolving engineering issues and collaborating with and/or giving direction to quoting, estimating, programming and machining, quality control and quality assurance. This department will be developing new manufacturing processes for 3 and 5 axis milling of aerostructures.

• Create and enforce work schedules and assignments to ensure timely completion of departmental objectives - - - -

• Provide suggestions for improvement to department and/or executive management - - - -
• Advanced planning based on workload - - - -

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering field - - - -
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role in heavily documented and specification-centric industry - - - -
  • Demonstrated ability to create and follow standards and engineer solutions - - - -
  • Experience with Aerospace OEM specifications - - - -
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and metal cutting process with an emphasis on CNC Milling - - - -
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance - - - -
  • Experience with Epicor ERP System preferred - - - -
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize workload in order to maximize production results - - - -
  • Knowledge of management techniques to maximize output including resource allocation & leadership - - - -
