seeking an experienced and driven Director of Business Development
to spearhead our growth initiatives within the off-highway and
truck industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust background
in sales and business development, underscored by a proven track
record of success within this niche market.Key
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business expansion
in the off-highway and truck industry.
- Identify and seize new business opportunities by building
relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the
sector.
- Maintain and enhance a strong network of industry contacts to
support business development and collaborative opportunities.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to develop and implement
effective sales strategies that surpass revenue goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of
high-quality services to our clients.
- Keep abreast of market trends and competitive activities to
stay ahead in the industry.
- Craft and present compelling business proposals, presentations,
and contracts to potential clients.
- Manage sales performance metrics, providing comprehensive
reports to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry-specific events, conferences,
and trade shows to enhance brand recognition and promote
services.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing,
Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in sales and business
development in the engineering service industry, specifically
within the off-highway and truck industry.
- Experience managing clients such as John Deere, Vermeer,
Caterpillar, and Komatsu.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales
targets.
- Deep understanding of the off-highway and truck industry and
its major players.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal
skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with
clients and industry partners.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing sales
teams.
- Expert in strategic planning and execution.
