It offers a diverse array of courses in the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.Job SummaryThe Director of Curriculum & Governance supports the Dean with College-wide curriculum management, class scheduling, and administrative oversight of governance committees.The Director's duties consist of:

  • Curriculum development support for the College.
  • Service as the College curriculum and governance specialist.
  • Organizing, training, and supporting faculty advisors.
  • Coordinating with other administrative teams on curriculum management.
  • Supervising record keeping for program reviews.
  • Supervising preparation of the Timetable and undergraduate catalog.
  • Leading a team of two employees.The Director will also serve as the Secretary of the L&S Faculty, which includes:
    • Supervising preparation of agendas and minutes for L&S committees.
    • Ensuring L&S standing committees are elected/appointed.
    • Chairing L&S Faculty Council meetings.Minimum Qualifications
      • Tenured member of the College of Letters and Science Faculty.Preferred Qualifications
        • Experience on College and/or campus governance committees.
        • Experience with department-level curriculum committees.
        • Experience with the schedule of classes at the department level.
