Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Manager near Crystal Lake, IL. Looking for a Quality Manager with experience mentoring and leading a small team.

As a Quality Manager you will:

Be responsible for maintaining and improving our product quality management system, reducing defect rates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Manage the IATF-16949 quality management system as the Management Representative
Lead quality management initiatives and promote customer requirements.
Drive defect reduction efforts and manage nonconforming materials.
Oversee final inspections, ensuring timely and accurate product flow.
Manage department personnel, training, and efficiency.
Address and resolve customer quality complaints with corrective actions.
Collaborate in APQP meetings to identify and prevent processing issues
Ensure calibration system accuracy and oversee PPAP submissions.

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Degree in engineering or manufacturing technology (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of quality management experience
ASQ certification and IATF 16949 training preferred.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Salary: $90K- $120K per year

*Salary range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
