Director of Sales - Automotive EngineeringWe are seeking a
dynamic Director of Sales to lead our business development efforts
in the North American automotive engineering sector. This strategic
position focuses on promoting and selling Product Engineering
Services (PES) directly to top-tier automotive clients. The
successful candidate will drive revenue growth by establishing
high-level corporate relationships, securing new contracts, and

team.Salary: DOE per yearEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver and exceed sales revenue targets by securing new
contracts and fostering strong, sustainable customer
relationships.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within
the automotive engineering sector.
- Accurately forecast and achieve annual, quarterly, and monthly
revenue goals, with a sharp focus on growth metrics.
- Engage effectively with senior executives to open new avenues
and establish strategic partnerships and alliances.
- Lead negotiations on contractual terms to secure profitable
deals that align with both client expectations and our service
capabilities.
- Work closely with proposal teams and technical staff to
transition projects seamlessly and ensure overall client
satisfaction.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities to support
continuous revenue growth.
- Enhance sales processes continually to increase efficiency and
the likelihood of success in meeting sales targets.
- Utilize understanding of offshore and global delivery models to
meet diverse client needs effectively.Minimum Position
Qualifications:
- 10 to 15 years of relevant professional experience, with a
solid background in sales or business development.
- A minimum of 4 to 6 years specialized experience in selling
engineering services to the automotive industry.
- Demonstrable experience in managing and closing high-value
contracts within a competitive market.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a
business-to-business sales environment.
- Excellent strategic planning and leadership abilities, with
capabilities in managing high-performing sales teams.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Prior leadership roles in automotive sales or engineering
services with evidential business impact.
- Technical understanding of Product Engineering Services and how
they apply to the automotive sector.
- Experience engaging and negotiating at the CXO level,
cultivating significant corporate relationships.
- Advanced degrees or certifications relevant to business
administration or automotive engineering.
- Familiarity with global delivery models and the integration of
international resources to meet client needs.Skills:
- Outstanding relationship management and interpersonal
skills.
- Expert negotiation skills with the ability to close agreements
favorable to the company.
- Strategic thinker with a persuasive and clear communication
style.
